Lord Dowding Fund calls for grant applications

1 September 2011

The Lord Dowding Fund for humane research invites applications for exciting, new non-animal research projects.

We are particularly interested in the following areas: Alzheimerís disease, Parkinsonís disease and heart disease research. We wish to stimulate research activity in these areas, where more accurate and advanced techniques for investigation of these complex illnesses is to be encouraged.

We believe that funding innovative non-animal research will enable solutions to be found for these debilitating issues faster, more efficiently and more accurately than is possible with animal research.

If you are a scientist with a project proposal, which does not use animals or animal tissues, in one of these research areas, please click here for terms and conditions and application details.
